The Short Version

Your photo never leaves your device. Detect Face Shape performs the entire facial landmark and shape analysis locally inside your browser sandbox. We do not upload, collect, store, view, or transmit your photos or biometric data to our servers or any third parties — ever. When you close this tab, your image data is permanently purged.

Photos & On-Device Biometric Data

When you upload a portrait photo or use your device camera, the image is analyzed exclusively on-device via a WebAssembly neural model. The 478 facial landmarks, facial proportions, bilateral symmetry scores, and shape classification results are computed entirely within your browser's temporary memory.

We do not construct, maintain, or contribute to any facial recognition or biometric database. No user registration or account creation is required to access any of our analysis features.

Cookies, Advertising & Google AdSense Compliance

Detect Face Shape uses third-party advertising partners, including Google AdSense, to serve relevant advertisements when you visit our website. To comply with Google AdSense policies, please review the following cookie disclosures:

• Third-Party Vendor Cookies: Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites across the Internet.

• Google Advertising & DART Cookies: Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve personalized ads to our visitors based on their browsing history on Detect Face Shape and other sites on the web.

Third-Party Content Delivery & Fonts

To deliver fast, secure website performance, our web pages load static font files and open-source computational scripts from content delivery networks (including Google Fonts and public CDNs). These requests retrieve style and script assets only. Standard technical transmission logs (such as browser user-agent and IP addresses) are handled in accordance with each CDN provider's standard privacy policies.

Data Protection Rights (GDPR & CCPA / CPRA)

We respect the privacy rights of all global visitors, including residents of the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and the State of California:

• GDPR Rights: Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, rectify, or request deletion of any personal data. Because we do not store user accounts or personal profiles, no identifiable personal records are retained.

• CCPA/CPRA Rights: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data. We do not sell any personal or biometric data.

Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Our website is a general audience styling and geometry tool and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since no user accounts or persistent server databases exist, no information from minors is ever collected or retained.
